Morgue Interior Design

Morgue Interior Design is complete, I gave it some nice 70's wallpaper I found, a weird border and some tiles. Put it on a first person controller as that will be closer to objects so if they look okay in that, they should (hopefully) look good in 3rd person. Put in my lamp and attached a light from it, the animation swings slightly, and the light moves and aims with it so I have that all sorted. :) The gun doesn't fire, I just wanted to see what it looked like.

Normal Mapping on the walls adds a real nice effect I think :)

A hospital type of door

After doing this I spent the rest of the day trying to make it swing when walked into in Unity, but for some reason even with a mass of 0.1 it is still too heavy, I can swing it about on a hinge in the editor, just in-game it won't budge :( anyways...

Scripting Shaders and RayCasts

I did my first bit of Javascripting today, I managed to make the character crouch. It sounds really simple but the problems of the character standing straight back up again, being able to spin on her feet move, well travel without moving her legs. All sorted, now I need to write a fall over script and a hit detection script where if they are spotted they get chased. I have had some help by various people and apparently a raycast is how I should go about this, it basically draws light for a set amount of time and it can test what is hit and what isn't. I have also downloaded the Unity Pro trial, and have been playing with shaders, some are absolutely brilliant :) I found one that someone had written which basically makes the dark, darker... spooky?

Been reading this :)

Concept

Just a quick concept to throw in for the long hallways.

Just realised a slight problem the lighting affects the stretcher slightly wrong, the head cushion should be a little darker and only affect by indirect light.

Old handheld lamp

P.S it will not be pink
I was looking up old torches, and I come across this weird but quite extraordinary looking one, I cannot get a time, so I modelled it for now and I will texture it once I know for sure it was from around the same time our game is set.
